![]() And no "they lived happily ever after" ending :). In fact when it was near to end, I wanted this book as a never ending one. Next 400 pages I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It took me sometime (first 200 pages read) to get used to the period mentioned in this book (1930/1940). Review 2: No spoilers.I read this book in 90's during my college days. WELL DONE As I SAID THIS IS NOT PLOT OR GENERALIZED PERSPECTIVE.IT IS ABOUT TRUTH, REALITY AND A FAILURE OF IT. ![]() A well written ,promising compelling read. more fall apart when he cannot choose side between the reality,his feelings,his father,his feelings and himself-he who bound by the social opinions to his inner self.When he did overcome by his feelings and who becomes hurt when he cannot feel himself as a man from a world whose control and his beliefs he thought was eternal.Yet in this this story the world which fell apart does not become black or blocked but more clear and beautiful and clear. novels I have READ it does not working by the perspective ,well there is certainly a social opinions told in young man's point of view but the story does not move in a way to prove it but to portray the hollowness of it.It is about a man whose world starts to. ![]() It is a youthful, well handled,realistic story of young boy who is struggling between his passion,love,boyish feelings and society.Unlike some other T.J. ![]() Okay.The story is a very simple one.A boy who is who come to study in collage away from home, a son of a singer, a passionate youngster, and he does with his life.It all becomes more sensible ,complicated and difficult when he meets his past love and passion-a past that he did dare to become involved with. ![]()
